As anyone who’s done it will tell you, traveling abroad gives you a scope on the world that you simply will not get any other way. There is no substitute. If you’ve never been outside your home country, seriously consider it. Stop taking other people’s word for it — plan yourself a trip …and get an accurate, first-hand knowledge of the planet you’re standing on.
